With its classic styling and host of modern appointments, the Cort GB74 4-string Active Bass will appeal to a range of bass players wanting traditional looks and those all important modern day tweaks!

The GB74 features a swamp ash body paired with a Canadian hard rock maple neck that is topped with a rosewood fingerboard - a classic combination that allows the GB74 to produce its great tone. In addition, the bound fingerboard is inlaid with block inlays, adding to its vintage styling.

Loaded with a Jazz style pickup at the neck and a MM style humbucker at the bridge, the GB74 is able to produce a range of warm, yet punchy sound. When used in conjunction with the active 3-band EQ system (with coil-tap switch) you are easily able to coax out a huge array of tones to suit all musical environments - from thick old school like tones to snappy funk to mid grinding rock!

Never miss a note thanks to the onboard Neutrik locking jack, as it'll hold your cable in if it's accidentally pulled. To remove your cable just push the red release button.

Added value comes courtesy of the excellent Hipshot Ultralight Tuners. Made of cast zinc with aluminum strings posts and mounting nuts, they deliver a 30% weight reduction.
